The Educational Foundation of the Scott Berkeley Chapter of the Air Force Association was formed to provide educational assistance in the form of scholarships and other various educational programs.

A major portion of the funds are in the form of educational scholarships and are used to support high school seniors throughout the region and junior enlisted personnel and their spouses from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

The Educational Foundation also supports a variety of educational activities in the Wayne County Public Schools through the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp (JROTC) programs and aerospace educational programs.
