The meeting was called to order by Gary Barefoot, chair.  A welcome was extended by Bonnie Whitesell.

Business Meeting
Gary welcomed all attendees followed by individual introductions. Debbie Sutherland and Beth Yelverton were welcomed as first timers.

Announcements

1. Gary provided an update of the WIN Union List of Serials.  He encouraged all libraries to provide him with updates before the database is turned over to Robby Price of  to be made available online.
2. A general discussion was held on the impace of NCLIVE on the activities of WIN.  Members still rely on libraries in the county for articles and sharing of reference materials.

1. Each attendee provided updates of the materials and activities of their library. Mount Olive College now has a new Internet link and all e-mail addresses have changed.
2. Judy Hodges and Susie Parris identified various volumes that have been discarded from Wayne Community College library.
3. Shirley announced that the web pages for the WCC library have recently been updated, providing links to local and Internet resources.
