Program

Terry Mullins provided an introduction to the library at Seymour Johnson AFB.  The mission is to provide mission-essential information and books to base offices; to support base educational efforts, both professional and voluntary; and to enhance the quality of life of the Seymour Johnson base community. She provided a fact sheet, a flyer listing the services, and an explanation of the way the air force libraries now operate. The library staff are employees of McLoud Associates, the contractor for library operations. In April 2001 construction should be completed for a new library facility. A tour concluded the meeting.
